Ok, so I've finally given in to the inevitable and created myself a blog. Now I'm just like every other person out there in the world who actually thinks someone gives a shit about anything they have to say.

Right now the only thing I really feel like venting about is that good ole boy in Washington who, astonishingly, is still referred to as the President. Tonight, he's scheduled to give yet another of his brilliantly mind boggling speeches. If you don't know what I'm talking about, here are a few moments that demonstrate some of his extraordinary speaking skills.

Seriously though, judging by the fact that Mr. Bush is not willing to admit any of his faults and try to overcome them, I don't foresee the speech containing anything substantial for the greater good of the country we live in. Here is a man who makes decisions based upon prayer meetings rather than drawn out intelligent discourse with advisors who are paid to do just that, advise. Also, here he is a man that denegrates and lowers those of us viewed upon as "different" rather than bringing us all together as one. Of course, bringing us together would be the worst thing for him. If we were a united country then his cronies would have a more difficult time getting back into office in '08. However, after seeing the results of last November's election, it's safe to say that a lot of those Americans who blindly allowed Bush his second term are finally wising up. That's an amazing thing. And us young voters must vote and stay involved because we are the ones that will soon be running this country and should be responsible for helping to force change.
